The PRS SE McCarty 594 is beautiful and effortlessly playable. A modern guitar with vintage feel, crafted with personality and familiarity for a truly exceptional experience. The guitar is made with the meticulous high quality you have come to expect from a PRS. Attached with components such as vintage style tuners and a two-piece bridge, this updated model incorporates some innovative features that improve its tone tremendously. Two 58/15 LT pickups, featured at both the neck and bridge, produce an incredibly powerful sound that packs immense power and clear articulation.

As well as offering an astonishing sound, the PRS 594 has been crafted from a combination of tonewoods that provide immense sturdiness and durability to enhance playability. The body is constructed with mahogany, ensuring the guitar can handle the aggressive playing and showmanship that comes out on stage. Topped with an ever-reliable rosewood fretboard, you will be able to glide effortlessly through frets with easy transition. This all combines into an utterly breath-taking guitar.

Pickup power

For such an exhilarating guitar, you will need some equally powerful pickups. Equipped with 58/15 LTs, the 594 does not disappoint. Explore the possibilities of both rich and warm humbucking sounds as well as punchy single coil tones. The pickups offer clear definition and delicate dynamics that create a memorable experience. PRS haven’t stopped there. The 58/15 LT pickups have gone through an innovative TCI process. TCI, or 'tuning capacitance and inductance', is a special method of 'tuning' the pickups to sound their best in this specific model.

When performing, it is important that you can sculpt your tone to match your virtuosic skill. With two volume dials and two push/pull tone controls, you will be able to finely tune your sound. Whether you want to choose a glorious humbucking tone or a crunchy, twangy single coil, the 3-way selector lets you choose which pickup you would prefer to be using.

A PRS quality build

The PRS 594 is topped with carved figured maple, producing a tone that is characteristically bright with a clear bite whilst looking stunning. Backing up the maple top is a reliable mahogany back. These two tonewoods are perfectly matched for one another, as the maple brings out every note with sparkling clarity and dynamic sensitivity, whilst the mahogany back adds warmth and depth, resulting in a brilliantly balanced tone.
