The SG-2000 sits right at the top end of Yamaha’s classic late-70s electric guitar output and has earned a huge reputation for its substantial feel, long sustain, rich tone and exceptional build quality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is something unmistakably special about these early Japanese SGs. The carved body, ebony fingerboard, split block inlays, gold hardware and substantial construction give the guitar a luxurious feel, while the twin humbuckers deliver a thick, articulate voice with plenty of definition.
