This particular guitar has also had a very useful 24V battery mod fitted for the EMG 81\/60 pickup set.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 24V mod gives the active EMGs increased headroom and a little more range and openness compared with the standard 9V setup. It is a standalone and easily reversible modification, so the guitar can be returned to the original 9V configuration if preferred.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApart from the battery mod, the guitar remains as close to its original factory specification as possible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eCondition\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is not a mint example and we have priced it accordingly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are numerous surface scratches, pick marks and general signs of use across the gloss black finish. Some areas are more noticeable under direct light, particularly around the controls, tremolo area and rear of the body.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are also a number of small chips, dings and marks around the edges, along with some lighter cosmetic marks to the neck. We have photographed the more noticeable areas closely so the condition can be judged accurately.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDespite that, it still presents very well from normal playing distance. The gloss black finish still has plenty of shine and the cream binding gives it a great look.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMost importantly, it plays extremely well.
