Slightly slimmer and more manageable than a traditional dreadnought, it sits comfortably against the body while still delivering plenty of acoustic presence. The cutaway also gives excellent access further up the fingerboard, making it equally suitable for strumming, fingerstyle and lead playing.

A spruce top provides plenty of clarity, definition and projection, paired with ovangkol back and sides to add warmth, depth and a fuller midrange response. It’s a versatile combination that works particularly well for players who want one acoustic capable of covering a broad range of styles.

The mahogany neck is joined with a traditional dovetail joint at the 14th fret and paired with an Eboncore fingerboard and bridge. Genuine abalone detailing around the soundhole, maple and ABS binding and chrome machine heads with black buttons give the TRX4CE a smart, understated finish.

For amplified use, it comes fitted with Tanglewood’s TEQ MX electronics, allowing the guitar to be connected directly to an acoustic amplifier, PA or recording setup while retaining the character of the instrument.

Finished in Natural Gloss, the TRX4CE is a very attractive, versatile electro acoustic and an excellent choice for home, stage or studio use.

Specification

* Model: Tanglewood TRX4CE

* Range: Roadster X

* Body Shape: Super Folk Cutaway

* Top: Spruce

* Back: Ovangkol

* Sides: Ovangkol

* Finish: Natural Gloss

* Rosette: Genuine Abalone / ABS

* Binding: ABS & Maple

* Neck: Mahogany

* Neck Joint: Dovetail

* Neck Joint Position: 14th Fret

* Fingerboard: Eboncore

* Fret Markers: ABS White Dot

* Bridge: Eboncore

* Bridge Pins: Black ABS with White Dots

* Machine Heads: Chrome with Black Buttons

* Nut: White PPS

* Saddle: White PPS

* Electronics: Tanglewood TEQ MX

* Strings: Phosphor Bronze .012–.053

* End Pin: Chrome

* Strap Pin: Chrome

* Condition: Brand New

What’s Included

* Brand new Tanglewood TRX4CE Roadster X

* Original Tanglewood tags

Cases, gig bags and accessories are only included where explicitly stated in the description or shown in the photographs.
