This stunning Epiphone Les Paul Custom has just landed at Chordplay, and it’s a beauty! This one being released to celebrate a milestone anniversary in 2002, and limited therefore to just 2002 pieces worldwide. This guitar is one for both players and collectors!

Made at the highly regarded Unsung factor in Korea, this edition features special artwork on the back highlighting historical moments in Les Paul’s career. It also sports a custom gold truss rod cover and tuners.

Based on the top-of-the-line, Ebony-finish, gold-hardware Custom, the 50th Anniversary features a montage on the back that includes black-and-white performance photos of Les Paul himself, with 1952 "Goldtop", and "Log" artist renderings superimposed over the images. In the early 1940s Paul assembled his Log, one of the first electric solidbody guitars, in the Epiphone factory. His famous signature "Goldtop" of 1952 was Gibson's first solid body electric guitar.

The guitar is in excellent condition with just the usual light blemishes and play wear from casual home use. The gold hardware has tarnished nicely with age as to be expected. Please see all photos, at 24yrs old this isn’t a case queen but has also been well looked after.
