Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Historic Reissue in Ice Tea Burst

This absolute beauty has just arrived at Chordplay and it is incredible! This is a coveted early reissue crafted during the ‘good wood’ years and hand-selected for the Japanese market. The Yamano imports are renowned for their exceptional tops & build quality and don’t come up for sale often!

With vintage-correct specs, a vibrant Ice Tea Burst finish, and legendary tonewoods, this is a collector-grade Les Paul built for tone purists and players alike.

Condition:

Considering this is 25yrs old, it’s in excellent order throughout. The frets have minimal wear, the top is beautiful and it is an absolute dream to play with no issues!

There is a section where the lacquer has worn off naturally on the back of the neck, but this does not affect playability and is localised with no lacquer chipping etc… There’s also some buckle rash to the rear, chrome tarnishing and blemishes as you’d expect from a used guitar.

The only modification we can see is that it’s had the pots replaced, however, the originals are in the case!

The hard case is generally in good condition and original.
