A superior build

Offering a wide dynamic range and crisp articulation, the Sitka spruce top ensures that every note is released from the strings with glistening definition. It is perfect for any passionate gigging and recording musician. As the wood ages, you'll notice that the sonic capabilities of your guitar become more varied and enticing. Each time you play, Sitka spruce's tone opens up - and so do the possibilities of the 114e. Complementing the spruce top are walnut back and sides, another tonewood that ages with beauty. Walnut will add crisp highs to your sound, along with a deep, woody low end for scrumptious tonal balance.

The grand auditorium body is known for its versatility and brilliant sound projection. With full, rounded lows, pronounced mids, and sparkling highs, you'll have a gorgeous tonal response across the whole frequency range.

Built for flawless fretting

The ebony fretboard features a naturally high oil content which gives it a lusciously smooth finish. Slide effortlessly from fret to fret and lose yourself in a glorious playing experience, your sound will flow seamlessly from the strings. Ebony is an extremely responsive tonewood that offers a beautifully bright sound as well as a snappy, crisp attack, making it a gorgeous accompaniment to the walnut and spruce body.
