The Ibanez AMH90, here presented in Cherry Red Flat, is part of Ibanez's Artcore Expressionist range of compact hollow-body electric guitars. The Artcore Expressionist series features upgrades over the standard Artcore series including Super 58 pickups, ebony fretboard, gold hardware, Expressionist three-piece neck and tortoiseshell pickguard. These substantial upgrades combine to make this outstanding semi-acoustic guitar even better.

The original Ibanez AM model was released by Ibanez for the first time in the early '80s. Though smaller in size than other hollow bodies, this guitar provides warm, punchy tone and abundant sustain. It offers the added benefit being compact enough that players more accustomed to a solid body electric will feel right at home on this popular Artcore model.

The Artcore Expressionist line establishes yet another chapter in the Artcore story. The Expressionist difference? Jazz fans will recognize the Ibanez original Super 58, the preferred pickup of George Benson, Pat Metheny and John Scofield on their own Signature models. A favourite among jazz players, but as funk guitarist Eric Krasno has been proving, the Super 58s perform well in a variety of situations. Warmth, balanced articulation, and excellent response are defining characteristic the Super 58 pickups.

Ebony fretboard: Ebony produces a tight low and mid range with an iconic attack on the high end. It also features a quick response and rich sustain.

Super 58 Pickups: The Super 58 pickups deliver the smooth, nuanced tones and the biting growl of blues.

Gibraltar Performer bridge: The Gibraltar Performer bridge provides rich sustain and tuning stability. The low-positioned saddles promise comfortable playability.

Tri-sound switch (for neck pickup): Opens up a huge array of tones, allowing the neck pickup to be operated in series, parallel and coil split modes.
