The Ibanez AZ2407F is a gorgeous, high-end shredding machine. Boasting boutique sonics from a trio of choice DiMarzio pickups, the AZ240F generates super clear, harmonically rich voicings. As you'd expect from a Prestige guitar, its highly refined sonics are accompanied by absurdly easy playability. Equipped with a roasted maple fretboard that's carved into an oval "C" profile and finished with the Prestige fret edge treatment, you'll glide along the scales without feeling any resistance. And that's good, because with Gotoh tuning machines, an oil-impregnated bone nut and a Gotoh tremolo bridge working together, you'll hear each note in pristine clarity and an almost endless sustain. A trio of tones

Unleash devastating sonics. Ibanez have carefully selected these DiMarzio pickups to create a balanced, hyper-clear soundscape. An Air Norton at the neck promotes a thick, creamy tone that's high in detail, and provides the depth without straying into muddiness. Down a step in the middle lies a True Velvet that brings clean and vintage sonics to the fore. Tuned for a higher treble response, you'll enjoy bright yet balanced harmonics.

 

Finally, a mighty Tone Zone sits in the bridge position for an unrestrained output. It produces thumping sonics that can really push an amp hard, so DiMarzio made sure to provide the musical muscle but cut out the fuzz and noise. Because of this you can articulate your voicing even at the highest of saturation settings.
