That isn’t a negative thing. During this period, Burny produced a range of instruments for the Japanese market, with many players choosing them for their excellent value, solid construction and authentic Les Paul styling.

What matters is how the guitar performs, and this one delivers. Featuring a maple top, mahogany body, set mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, it has all the ingredients you’d expect from a traditional single-cut design. The twin humbuckers provide plenty of warmth, sustain and punch, making it equally at home with classic rock, blues and heavier styles.

Condition is excellent for a 2013 instrument. It has clearly been well looked after throughout its life and remains impressively clean, with only light signs of use and handling.
