Created in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop, the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Outfit raises the bar for what players can expect from a modern Epiphone. Packed with premium components and period-correct appointments, it captures the look, feel and tone of one of the most celebrated guitars ever built.

 

This 2023 example is finished in a beautiful Tobacco Burst, showcasing the AAA figured maple veneer over a solid mahogany body. It’s in excellent condition, with only very light signs of previous use and a few minor cosmetic blemishes from careful playing.

 

The rounded 1959 Medium C neck profile feels instantly familiar, while the long neck tenon enhances sustain and resonance. Under the hood you’ll find a pair of USA Gibson BurstBucker pickups, delivering everything from warm vintage cleans to rich, singing overdrive with all the clarity and dynamic response that made the original 1959 Les Paul legendary.

 

Unlike a standard Epiphone Les Paul, this model features premium electronics throughout, including CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, 50s wiring and Switchcraft switchgear, giving it a genuinely authentic vintage feel both in tone and operation.
