If you’re after a bass that looks every bit as big as it sounds, this 2024 Sterling by Music Man StingRay RAY34 in Purple Sparkle certainly delivers. The finish absolutely pops under the light, with a deep metallic sparkle that’s even more impressive in person, while the black hardware and mirrored pickguard complete the modern StingRay look.

 

This example is in excellent used condition overall. It has only seen light use and has the usual minor cosmetic marks and light play wear you would expect from a pre-owned instrument. The only notable blemish is around the lower strap button, where the lacquer has chipped away in the past. This has been professionally filled with clear resin and is purely cosmetic, leaving the guitar structurally sound and ready to play.
