A stunning 2011 Taylor 914ce Grand Auditorium, presented in beautiful, near immaculate condition and complete with its original Taylor hard case, Taylor paperwork and genuine Taylor leather strap.

 

The 900 Series sits right at the top end of Taylor’s rosewood acoustic range, and the 914ce is one of the most elegant and desirable models they produce. This example features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, giving it that classic high-end Taylor voice: clear, articulate, balanced and beautifully rich, with plenty of shimmer, depth and projection.

 

Bought in 2012 as an investment piece, this guitar has barely been played and has spent almost all of its life stored safely in its case. It is absolutely stunning in person. The top is clean and glossy, the rosewood back and sides are gorgeous, and the Paua appointments give it that unmistakable 900 Series luxury without looking overdone.

 

The detail on this guitar is superb. Paua top edging, matching rosette detail, premium headstock appointments, gold Taylor tuners and the beautiful Cindy fretboard inlay all come together to make this feel every bit the flagship instrument it is. It is classy, elegant and very obviously a serious Taylor.

 

Being a 914ce, you also get the hugely popular Grand Auditorium body shape with cutaway access and Taylor electronics, making it equally suited to home playing, recording, live use or professional work. It feels extremely comfortable, responds beautifully to a light touch and has that unmistakable modern Taylor clarity.

 

Condition is exceptional for a 2011 guitar. It has clearly seen very little use and has been extremely well cared for. We have just fitted fresh strings, so there may be the odd tiny handling mark from restringing and inspection, but overall it presents as close to immaculate as you are likely to find for a guitar of this age.
