This particular example is especially impressive. The ebony used across the body has an unusually bold, strongly striped appearance, with rich dark figuring broken up by vivid amber and orange streaks. Because natural timber varies from instrument to instrument, this one really does have its own character.

The BTK60EB is a beautifully finished Grand Auditorium cutaway electro-acoustic featuring an ebony top, back and sides beneath a deep gloss finish.

 

And this particular guitar is an absolute beauty.

 

The ebony has been cut with exceptionally prominent natural striping running across the top, back and sides. Against the darker base colour, those warm contrasting streaks really stand out, and the high-gloss finish adds even more depth to the figuring. It is the sort of guitar that immediately catches your eye from across the shop.

 

The Grand Auditorium body shape provides an excellent balance between comfort and acoustic projection. It feels manageable whether played seated or standing, while the cutaway offers easy access further up the fingerboard.

 

Acoustically, the BTK60EB offers a clear, balanced response with plenty of definition, making it equally comfortable with open chord work, more intricate picking and general accompaniment.
