A bit of a sad one for us, because these are the last two brand-new Vintage guitars of this model that we’ll ever have following the closure of Vintage.

 

We’ve got just two remaining, one in Pasadena Purple and one in Ventura Green, both brand new and both reduced from the £429 RRP to just £249.

 

The V6M24 is one of the more modern guitars from the Vintage ReIssued range, built around a 24-fret design with a pair of high-output Wilkinson humbuckers and the excellent Wilkinson VS50IIK vibrato system. It is a really well thought-out guitar for players who want something comfortable, fast and versatile without moving away from a more traditional feel.

 

The American alder body gives the guitar a balanced, resonant foundation, while the hard rock maple neck has Vintage’s familiar soft C profile. The 15” radius fingerboard and 24 medium jumbo frets give it a noticeably more modern feel under the fingers, particularly for bends, lead playing and higher-fret work.

 

A pair of Wilkinson WHHBN and WHHBB double-coil pickups deliver plenty of output and harmonic content, making the V6M24 particularly well suited to rock, fusion and higher-gain styles while still retaining useful clarity.

 

The twin-post Wilkinson VS50IIK vibrato is another major highlight, offering individual intonation adjustment alongside excellent return-to-pitch performance. Wilkinson WJ07LH E-Z-Lok machine heads further help with tuning stability.
