🔥 2025 Ibanez FRH20QMN – Wine Red Low Gloss 🔥

 

A stunning Ibanez FRH20QMN in Wine Red Low Gloss, and this one is in near-mint condition with only the lightest signs of careful home use.

 

The FRH series is a brilliant crossover design for players who want the warmth and feel of nylon strings without the bulky feel of a traditional classical guitar. The slim, modified FR hollow body is extremely comfortable, while the cutaway and narrower 46mm nut width make it far more familiar under the hands for electric and steel-string players.

 

The quilted maple top looks superb under the Wine Red finish, while the sapele back and sides add warmth and depth to the acoustic tone. Fan bracing gives the guitar a more natural nylon-string response, and the lack of a conventional front soundhole helps keep feedback under control when amplified.

 

Instead, the FRH20QMN uses a side sound port, which projects more of the guitar’s natural sound directly back towards the player. It makes the instrument feel much more immediate when playing unplugged and is a really clever part of the design.

 

The neck is made from nyatoh with a comfortable C profile, paired with a rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets and decorative acrylic and abalone block inlays. The 25.5” scale length and flatter 400mm fingerboard radius make this feel much more modern than a traditional nylon-string guitar.

 

For amplified use, it is fitted with an Ibanez undersaddle pickup and AEQ210T preamp, with volume, bass and treble controls, onboard tuner and phase switch. It is a very practical setup for live work, recording or simply plugging straight into an acoustic amp or PA.

 

Gold classical tuners, a rosewood bridge and bone nut and saddle finish the guitar off beautifully.

Condition

 

This one is in near-mint condition and has clearly seen only very light home use.

 

There are only the lightest handling marks and minor signs of play visible under close inspection, with nothing significant to detract from the guitar.

 

It has also been set up really well and plays beautifully.
