A really lovely electro-acoustic from Vintage, designed in collaboration with UK fingerstyle guitarist Rory Evans. This is the Vintage Virtuoso Rory Evans, model VGA900RE, finished in Natural with gold hardware, a grand auditorium body and a comfortable Venetian cutaway.

 

This is a very nice step up from a standard budget electro-acoustic. It features a Grade A solid spruce top paired with an acacia body, giving it a clear, balanced acoustic voice with warmth, definition and plenty of response. The open-pore finish lets the guitar feel light and natural in the hands, while the grand auditorium shape makes it comfortable to sit with and very versatile across fingerstyle, strumming, songwriting and live work.

 

The neck is a real highlight on this model. It has a slim feel with a soft V profile, designed for comfort, accuracy and fast movement around the fretboard. The Venetian cutaway gives easy access higher up the neck, making it a great choice for more modern acoustic playing as well as traditional styles.

 

It is also fitted with a Fishman Presys Blend system and Fishman Sonicore pickup, giving you a strong live or recording-ready setup. The onboard controls include volume, bass, middle, treble, brilliance, blend, phase, anti-feedback and a built-in tuner with LED display.

 

A smart looking, well-specified electro-acoustic with a very premium feel for the money.
