2011 Fender Classic Series ’50s Telecaster – White Blonde – Made in Mexico

A gorgeous example of Fender’s much-loved Classic Series ’50s Telecaster, built in Mexico in 2011 and finished in the beautifully understated White Blonde finish.

 

This is exactly the sort of Telecaster Fender did so well with the Classic Series range. It has the look, feel and simplicity of an early ’50s Tele, with the right combination of an ash body, maple neck, black guard and traditional vintage-style hardware.

 

The White Blonde finish is a big part of the appeal here. It gives the guitar that unmistakable old-school Fender look, especially alongside the tinted maple neck and single-ply black pickguard. It is one of those combinations that just looks right on a Telecaster.

 

The neck is a traditional maple neck and fingerboard with a comfortable vintage-style C profile, a 7.25” radius and 21 vintage-style frets, giving it a much more period-correct feel than the flatter, more modern Fender necks.

 

A pair of vintage-style Telecaster single-coil pickups deliver the familiar bright, articulate Tele sound, with plenty of snap from the bridge pickup and a warmer, rounder neck position. Controls are kept traditionally simple with master volume, master tone and a three-way blade selector.

 

The guitar also features the correct vintage-style string-through-body Tele bridge with three chrome barrel saddles, vintage-style tuners and chrome hardware.

This one has clearly been cherished.

 

For a guitar dating from 2011, it is in really lovely condition. There are the usual very light signs of use you would expect from a played instrument of this age, including minor surface scratches, handling marks and very small areas of cosmetic wear visible under close inspection.

 

We cannot see any significant dings, cracks or damage worth specifically highlighting, and overall it presents extremely well.

 

As with any used guitar of this age, there may be tiny marks or signs of use that do not show clearly in photographs, so please study all of the images carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
