A seriously good-value S-style guitar and a lovely example of the original first-generation Sire Larry Carlton S3, finished in Dakota Red.

 

Designed in collaboration with Larry Carlton, the S3 took the familiar three-single-coil format and added some of the details Sire became known for, particularly the comfortable neck carve and Edgeless rolled fingerboard edges, giving it a noticeably smoother, more refined feel than many guitars around this price point.

 

This example has been used as a shop display / ex-demo guitar and is in mint overall condition. It has seen very little use and presents beautifully, with no significant damage to highlight.

The three single-coils give you everything you would expect from this style of guitar, from bright, clean neck tones through to the classic in-between positions and a sharper bridge sound for rhythm and lead work.

 

The neck is one of the highlights. Sire’s rolled fingerboard edges make the guitar feel immediately comfortable in the hand and help give it a more expensive feel than the price suggests.

Ex-demo / shop display example in mint overall condition.

 

It has been handled and displayed in store but has seen very little use and remains exceptionally clean throughout.
