This is a beautiful 2022 Epiphone Les Paul Modern in Sparkling Burgundy, and it is a seriously good looking guitar in the flesh. A modern take on the classic Les Paul formula, with a stunning gloss finish, Ultra-Modern weight relieved mahogany body, ebony fingerboard and a very comfortable asymmetrical Slim Taper neck profile.

 

Condition is excellent throughout and it has clearly been cherished for home use only. There are some minor handling marks and light tarnishing to the hardware, but no damage and nothing nasty to report. Please see all photographs as they form part of the description.

 

The Les Paul Modern is built to feel a little more refined and player-friendly than a traditional Les Paul. The Ultra-Modern chambered body helps keep the weight more comfortable, while the contoured heel and Slim Taper neck make upper fret access much easier. It still has that familiar Les Paul feel, but with a more modern edge.

 

Sound-wise, the ProBucker-2 and ProBucker-3 humbuckers deliver classic PAF-inspired tones with plenty of warmth, sustain and bite. Great for blues, rock, indie, classic rock and heavier styles, with a very usable range of tones from clean and sweet through to thick and driven.

 

Finished in Sparkling Burgundy with clear top hat knobs, chrome hardware and cream binding, this one looks fantastic and feels like a lot of guitar for the money.
