A beautifully presented Ozark 2255E F-Style electro-acoustic mandolin, combining traditional bluegrass styling with a genuinely strong all-solid specification and the convenience of a factory-fitted pickup system.

This is a particularly attractive instrument, finished in a rich Sunburst with the classic F-style body shape, ornate scroll detailing, decorative headstock, extensive white binding and gold-plated hardware. It has considerably more presence than many entry-level mandolins, both visually and in the way it feels in the hands.

The construction is excellent for this price point, with a solid arched spruce top paired with solid maple back and sides. That combination gives the 2255E plenty of natural projection, clarity and definition, making it especially well suited to bluegrass, folk and traditional styles.

Its fully bound fingerboard carries 24 frets and decorative position markers, while the adjustable compensated bridge allows the instrument to be set up accurately for good intonation and comfortable playability.

The built-in piezo pickup system makes this a very practical instrument for live performance too, with onboard volume and tone controls mounted discreetly into the side of the body.

This example presents extremely well and has clearly seen careful use. The high-gloss Sunburst finish still looks superb, while the gold hardware, ornate tailpiece and pearl-style tuner buttons complement the instrument beautifully.
