Designed in collaboration with renowned guitarist Paul Brett, this compact parlour-sized travel guitar delivers the unmistakable shimmer and spacious chime that only a 12-string can produce. Despite its smaller body, it produces an impressive amount of volume with excellent string-to-string definition, making it ideal for songwriting, recording, travelling or simply enjoying a unique playing experience.

 

Inspired by the classic parlour guitars of the 1920s and 30s, the Viator combines vintage styling with modern construction and reliability. A solid Sitka spruce top provides outstanding projection and dynamic range, while the sapele back and sides add warmth, depth and balance to the overall tone. Internal scalloped X-bracing helps maximise resonance and sustain, whilst the Graph Tech NuBone nut and saddle further enhance clarity and tuning stability.

 

When it’s time to plug in, the Fishman Sonitone pickup and preamp system delivers a natural amplified sound with discreet volume and tone controls mounted neatly inside the soundhole.

 

Finished with elegant maple body binding, an intricate rosette, open-headstock design and smooth open-geared tuners, the Viator is every bit as attractive as it is practical.
