A brilliant 2018 Gibson Les Paul Faded in Worn Cherry, offering the classic Les Paul recipe in a stripped-back, lightweight and very playable format. Mahogany body, plain maple top, slim taper maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 490R and 490T humbuckers, Tune-O-Matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece, vintage-style keystone tuners and ultra-modern weight relief. It comes in at a very comfortable 7lb 13.1oz, making it a great choice for gigging, rehearsals and longer playing sessions.

 

This one has definitely been played and enjoyed, and it wears its history proudly. There is plenty of visible cosmetic wear, including buckle rash to the back, dings, scratches, edge marks, finish wear, handling marks and general signs of use throughout. The satin worn finish on these models naturally marks more easily than a full gloss Les Paul, and this example has taken on a great road-worn look over time. Most importantly, it plays great and sounds exactly as a good Les Paul should. The 490R and 490T humbuckers deliver warm, punchy Gibson tone with plenty of sustain, from thick rhythm sounds through to biting lead tones.
