2022 PRS SE Standard Hollowbody – Fire Red Burst 💥 

 

A lovely 2022 PRS SE Standard Hollowbody in Fire Red Burst, complete with its original hard case.

 

This one has had very light home use only and remains in near mint condition overall. There are a few light handling and play marks, including some faint surface scratches to the top, but nothing significant and no damage worth mentioning. It presents extremely well.

 

The Standard Hollowbody is a really appealing PRS because it gives you the feel and familiarity of a solidbody PRS, but with the extra resonance, warmth and air you get from a full hollowbody design.

 

The body is all mahogany, finished in Fire Red Burst, with the carved double-cutaway shape, twin F-holes and natural binding giving it a really elegant look. The mahogany neck is paired with an ebony fingerboard, 22 frets and PRS bird inlays, with a 25” scale length that feels immediately familiar if you already play PRS guitars.

 

It is fitted with a pair of PRS 58/15 “S” humbuckers, giving you a warm, articulate sound that suits everything from clean work and blues through to classic rock and heavier rhythm tones. The hollow construction gives the pickups a little more openness and resonance than you would get from a solidbody.

 

Controls are kept simple with volume, tone, a push/pull function and a 3-way toggle selector.

 

The hardware includes PRS-designed tuners and the PRS adjustable stoptail bridge, so you retain the tuning stability and straightforward feel PRS are known for.

 

A very versatile guitar, equally at home plugged in or played acoustically around the house.
