The Super Shredder comes equipped with a pair of powerful EMG humbuckers, which deliver pure tonal destruction and an incredibly versatile performance. With these pickups, you are provided with the iconic tones of the '70s that have been used by artists such as Van Halen and ZZ Top. Its vintage open-coil design offers the passive feel and dynamics of traditional pickups with all the benefits of an active pickup.

To top off their perfection, while you perform, you aren’t interrupted by any unwanted noise, hum, or buzz. Just pure electrifying tone. In order to take your tone to the next level, this model also features a whammy bar. Thanks to this, you can add expressive vibrato and dive bombs to your solos. The Schecter Super Shredder offers a well-balanced tone, delivering everything from aggressive crunchy sound to rich, clean tones that are ideal for the modern player. Its mahogany body produces naturally warm tones, with a touch of bite for creating tight lows and appealing highs. The 3-piece maple neck and rosewood fingerboard feature a thin "C" profile, which offer a fast performance with maximum comfort.
