This is a beautiful ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe in Amber Sunburst, a 2018 model with a stunning flamed maple top, abalone-style body binding, abalone-style inlays, Deluxe headstock detailing and matching abalone-style topped control knobs. It is one of those guitars that looks seriously premium from every angle, especially in this finish.

 

Condition is excellent overall and very close to mint, with only light play marks and minor signs of use as pictured. It has clearly been well looked after and presents beautifully. It has also been set up and is playing really nicely, with a comfortable feel, strong sustain and the fast, familiar EC-1000 single-cut playability these guitars are known for.

 

The pickups have been replaced from the original factory Seymour Duncan set to a pair of IronGear Hot Slag humbuckers. These are a great match for this style of guitar, giving it a powerful, lively rock voice with plenty of bite, output and clarity. They handle gain brilliantly but still clean up well, so while it is not the original pickup set, it is certainly not a downgrade in terms of usable tone. We always like to be upfront, so please note this is not currently fitted with the original Seymour Duncan pickups.

 

The EC-1000 Deluxe is a fantastic spec guitar, with a mahogany body, set neck construction, flamed maple top, single-cut body shape, carved top, comfortable neck profile, rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece, LTD branded tuners and the classic EC control layout. It is built for rock, metal, blues and modern lead playing, but still has enough warmth and versatility to cover a lot of ground.

 

It comes with a hard case included. The case is not an ESP/LTD branded case, but it is a good quality fitted hard case and adds real value to the package.
