Offered here is a rare 2009 Ibanez RG09LTD Pegasus, a limited-edition model finished in stunning Royal Blue with the instantly recognisable Pegasus graphic that glows in the dark under the right conditions. Produced in limited numbers and rarely seen on the used market today, this is one of the more unusual and collectible modern RG models.

Built around the classic RG formula, the RG09LTD combines aggressive styling with the fast playability that has made Ibanez the weapon of choice for generations of technical players. Whether it’s Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, DragonForce, Slipknot, Korn or countless modern metal artists, the RG platform remains one of the most respected performance guitars ever produced.

The slim 3-piece Wizard II maple neck is exceptionally comfortable and built for speed, while the Basswood body keeps things resonant and balanced. The Edge III double-locking tremolo allows for everything from subtle vibrato to full divebomb abuse whilst maintaining excellent tuning stability.

The unique Pegasus artwork sits beneath a metallic Royal Blue finish and, when charged by light, reveals its famous glow-in-the-dark effect. It’s a guitar that genuinely stands out both on stage and in any collection.

Condition is very good overall. The front presents exceptionally well with only light signs of use. There are some surface scratches and buckle marks to the rear of the body, a small chip to the rear edge as pictured, and a few minor marks around the body edges consistent with careful ownership over the years. The frets remain in excellent condition and the guitar has been inspected, cleaned and set up ready for its next owner.
