Rare / Unusual Factory Spec?
A genuinely interesting one here and not something we’ve been able to find another example of online in this specification.
This Vintage V6 ReIssued was just purchased new as B-stock from JHS, but unlike the standard V6 models, this example features a dual humbucker configuration with Wilkinson pickups, giving it a completely different vibe both visually and tonally.
Most V6 models are SSS or HSS layouts, making this HH Candy Apple Red version extremely unusual. Whether this was a very limited run, FSR-style model, prototype, sample or special order, we genuinely do not know, but it appears to have been professionally factory-built rather than modified aftermarket.
Finished in a stunning Candy Apple Red with mint green scratchplate and maple neck, it has a really cool Fender Cyclone / hot-rodded Strat feel to it.
Condition is new but listed as B-Stock/ex display. It has a few small blemishes that are hardly noticeable and likely even from factory.
