Produced to celebrate what would have been Les Paul’s 100th birthday, the 2015 Gibson Les Paul Studio 100 is one of the most distinctive Studio models Gibson has ever released. Combining the legendary Les Paul formula with a number of modern innovations, these guitars offer outstanding playability, exceptional versatility and unmistakable Gibson tone.

 

Finished in the stunning Desert Burst, this example features a beautifully figured maple top over a solid mahogany body and weighs a comfortable 8lb 1.6oz, making it lighter than many Les Pauls while retaining the sustain and rich character the model is famous for.

 

Originally fitted with Gibson’s G-Force automatic tuning system, this guitar has since been upgraded with traditional Kluson machine heads, giving it a far more familiar feel and classic appearance. The original pickup rings, adjustable zero fret nut and poker chip are all included with the sale. The original G-Force tuners are not included.

 

This guitar is presented in excellent used condition, showing only light signs of play along with a few minor cosmetic blemishes consistent with careful use. There are no breaks, repairs or damage of note. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.

 

Freshly inspected and professionally set up by our in-house technician, it plays beautifully with a comfortable action and excellent fret life remaining.

 

Loaded with Gibson’s outstanding ’57 Classic neck humbucker and ’57 Classic Plus bridge humbucker, this Studio delivers everything from warm, articulate cleans through to thick vintage crunch and soaring lead tones. Push/pull coil-splitting adds even more versatility, providing brighter single-coil inspired sounds when required without losing the unmistakable Les Paul character.

 

The slim taper mahogany neck feels effortless to play, while the bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl trapezoid inlays gives the guitar a premium appearance. Combined with the figured maple top and lightweight construction, this is a Les Paul that’s equally at home on stage, in the studio or simply enjoyed at home.

 

Complete with its original Gibson gold hard case, paperwork and original parts, this is a superb USA-built Les Paul Studio that’s ready to be played and enjoyed.
