✨ Epiphone Riviera Custom P93 Limited Edition Wine Red 2018 + Brand New Gator Hard Case ✨

 

This is a seriously good looking example of one of Epiphone’s more distinctive semi-hollow designs, the Riviera Custom P93, finished in deep Wine Red with gold hardware, triple P-90s and a Bigsby vibrato.

 

Built in 2018, the P93 takes the classic Riviera platform and gives it a much more versatile pickup arrangement, with three individual pickup volume controls plus a master tone, meaning there’s a surprising amount of tonal variation available from what is already a very characterful semi-hollow guitar. The factory specification for these includes three Epiphone Dogear P-90s, a LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge, Bigsby vibrato and Wilkinson 14:1 tuners.

 

This particular guitar has had the bridge pickup changed to a Wilkinson P-90, which is clearly visible in the photographs. The neck and middle pickups appear to remain Epiphone units. The combination works really well and gives you everything from warm, rounded neck tones through to brighter, more aggressive bridge sounds, with plenty in between.

 

Condition

 

It is in very good used condition for its age and presents extremely well overall.

 

There are signs that it has been played, including:

 

* Scratching and play wear around the bridge and Bigsby area

* General surface scratches and handling marks

* Scratches to the rear of the body

* Light scratching and marks to the headstock

* Some age-related tarnishing and wear to the gold hardware

 

There are no major structural issues noted, and it has recently had a setup. It plays extremely well and sounds fantastic.

 

The Wine Red finish still has loads of depth to it and, combined with the black pickguard, black P-90 covers and aged gold hardware, it has a very classy vintage-style appearance.
