This example is a one-owner guitar that was purchased for a project which never happened. As a result, it has seen very little use and remains in excellent condition, showing only a handful of very small cosmetic marks, which have been photographed as clearly as possible. They are difficult to notice in normal use.

 

At the heart of the SM-1 is a superb Seymour Duncan HSS pickup configuration. The legendary JB humbucker in the bridge delivers huge output, tight lows and cutting harmonics, while the pair of Cool Rails pickups provide warm cleans, fluid lead tones and impressive versatility. A push/pull volume control allows the bridge humbucker to be coil split, opening up even more tonal possibilities.

 

For players who demand absolute tuning stability, the genuine Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking tremolo and Floyd Rose R2 locking nut are ready for the biggest dive bombs and wildest vibrato without losing tuning.

 

The satin-finished mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and slim Kramer Speed SlimTaper “C” profile make this an exceptionally comfortable guitar to play, encouraging fast runs and effortless access to all 24 frets.
