2024 PRS SE Custom 24-08 – Charcoal Red Burst – Upgraded Locking Tuners – Gig Bag

 

A beautiful example of one of the most versatile guitars in the PRS SE range, finished in the superb Charcoal Red Burst.

 

This 2024 PRS SE Custom 24-08 has seen only light home use and remains in excellent, near-mint condition. There are only the lightest surface marks visible on close inspection, with nothing that detracts from how well the guitar presents.

 

It has also been upgraded with locking tuners, a worthwhile addition that makes restringing quicker while helping provide excellent tuning stability. The original PRS specification is otherwise retained, and the guitar comes complete with its PRS gig bag.

 

The Custom 24 is the model that helped establish PRS, and the 24-08 takes that familiar platform considerably further. Two individual mini-toggle switches allow each of the TCI “S” humbuckers to be independently coil tapped, giving a total of eight different pickup combinations. It makes this an exceptionally flexible guitar, moving easily from full, powerful humbucker sounds through to brighter and more articulate single-coil-style tones.

 

The classic PRS recipe is all here, including the carved maple top, mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard, bird inlays, 24 frets and 25” scale length. The Wide Thin neck profile gives it the fast, comfortable feel PRS players know well, while the PRS patented tremolo offers a smooth and responsive action.

 

Finished in Charcoal Red Burst, this one looks particularly impressive in person, with the figuring in the top coming alive as the light moves across it.
