2024 Sigma S000M-15E All-Solid Mahogany Electro-Acoustic Guitar~ With Gig Bag

Sigma S000M-15E All-Solid Mahogany Electro-Acoustic – Original Sigma Gig Bag

The Sigma S000M-15E is a beautifully understated acoustic guitar, combining an all-solid mahogany body with the comfortable proportions of a 000-style instrument. Finished in natural satin, with tasteful decorative inlays and vintage-style appointments, it’s a guitar that looks every bit as good as it sounds.

Importantly, this is the S000M-15E, not to be confused with the standard 000M-15E. The S-model features solid mahogany for the top, back and sides, rather than the laminated back and sides found on its more affordable counterpart. It’s a significant difference in construction and one of the main reasons this particular Sigma is worth seeking out.

Mahogany is celebrated for its warmth, excellent midrange response and wonderfully natural character. With solid mahogany throughout the body, this Sigma delivers a rich, woody acoustic voice, with excellent note definition and a lovely balance between warmth and clarity.

The 000-14 fret body is particularly comfortable, offering a slightly more compact alternative to a traditional dreadnought. It’s equally at home with fingerstyle playing, delicate passages and confident strumming, making it a versatile instrument for a wide range of players.

The mahogany neck features a comfortable low-profile shape, paired with a smooth Micarta fingerboard and attractive abalone position inlays. A dovetail neck joint, bone nut and saddle, and quality Grover open-geared tuners complete a very appealing specification.

For amplified playing, the guitar is fitted with the Fishman Presys+ electronics system, offering onboard tone shaping, a built-in tuner and a phase control for managing feedback. Whether playing acoustically at home or plugged into a PA, this is a guitar designed to perform.

The natural satin finish allows the beautiful mahogany grain to take centre stage, complemented by the dark pickguard, decorative bridge inlays and traditional Sigma headstock design.

Condition

This is a cherished example that has clearly been very well looked after.

The guitar is in excellent condition, displaying only very light handling and playwear consistent with careful ownership. We have inspected the instrument and cannot find any notable damage, dings or other issues worth highlighting.

It presents beautifully throughout, and the satin mahogany finish remains particularly attractive.

The guitar plays extremely well, with a comfortable action, excellent response and the lovely warm acoustic sound you would expect from an all-solid mahogany instrument.

Please study our photographs, which show the actual guitar for sale.
