2025 Epiphone SG Special P-90 – Sparkling Burgundy

This one is about as close to new as a used guitar gets.

 

A 2025 Epiphone SG Special P-90 in Sparkling Burgundy, only a couple of months old and played just a handful of times at home. Condition is genuinely mint — it’s difficult to distinguish from a new guitar.

 

The Sparkling Burgundy finish looks fantastic in person and suits the SG shape perfectly, while the pair of Epiphone P-90 PRO soapbar pickups give it the punchy, open midrange these are bought for. There’s plenty of bite when pushed, but they also clean up really nicely.

 

The spec is very traditional SG Special: mahogany body, mahogany neck, 60s SlimTaper profile, Indian Laurel fingerboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 24.724” scale. Hardware includes Epiphone Deluxe tuners with ivory buttons, a Graph Tech nut and LockTone bridge setup.

 

The big extra with this one is the case.

 

It comes with a Gator hard case in the classic brown and pink Gibson-style colours, complete with the pink interior shroud. It looks superb with the guitar and makes this a much stronger package than buying one without a case.
