The Enya EGA-Q1M/EQ forms part of our exclusive Enya premium acoustic range, available in the UK through Chordplay Guitars.

Beautifully made, superbly appointed and equipped with Enya’s DOUBLE-S0 TransAcoustic electronics, the Q1M/EQ takes the traditional acoustic guitar and adds a genuinely modern dimension.

At its heart is a solid A-grade Sitka spruce top, paired with selected Indian rosewood back and sides. It is a classic premium acoustic combination, delivering excellent clarity, projection and definition alongside the depth and richness associated with rosewood.

The Grand Auditorium-style cutaway body makes the Q1M/EQ an extremely versatile instrument. There is enough body and projection for strong rhythm playing, while its clarity and balance lend themselves equally well to fingerstyle, melodic work and more intricate acoustic playing. The cutaway also gives much easier access to the upper register.

TransAcoustic Electronics

What really separates the Q1M/EQ from the standard acoustic model is Enya's DOUBLE-S0 TransAcoustic pickup system.

Rather than simply turning the guitar into an electro acoustic for plugging into an amplifier or PA, the TransAcoustic system brings additional possibilities to the instrument itself, giving the Q1M/EQ a much more contemporary character while retaining the response and feel of a traditional acoustic guitar.

For players performing live, recording or simply wanting something more inspiring to play at home, it makes the Q1M/EQ an exceptionally interesting all-round instrument.

Premium Construction Throughout

Enya haven't stopped at the solid top and rosewood body.

The guitar features an African mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a bone nut and saddle, giving the Q1M/EQ a specification worthy of its position within Enya's premium range.

An abalone rosette, tortoiseshell-style pickguard and rosewood headplate add tasteful visual detail, while the high-gloss finish really brings out the natural figuring and colour of the woods.

Custom high-ratio 1:21 machineheads provide smooth and precise adjustment, while the 43mm nut width and 400R fingerboard radius give the guitar a comfortable, familiar feel in the hand.

It comes factory fitted with D'Addario EXP16 strings, another indication that Enya have paid attention to the details rather than treating these as an afterthought.

Every Q1M/EQ comes complete with an excellent heavily padded, water-resistant grey Enya gig bag.

This is a substantial protective bag rather than the lightweight cover often supplied with acoustic guitars, making the package feel every bit as premium as the instrument itself.
