Epiphone Dave Mustaine Flying V Custom Black Metallic~ Seymour Duncan Signature

Epiphone Dave Mustaine Flying V Custom – Black Metallic – Seymour Duncan Thrash Factor – Hard Case

A seriously impressive signature Flying V from Epiphone, developed with Dave Mustaine of Megadeth and finished in striking Black Metallic with contrasting binding and black nickel hardware.

This is the Epiphone Dave Mustaine Flying V Custom, combining the classic V silhouette with a specification aimed squarely at heavier players. The mahogany body is paired with a set mahogany neck and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard, while the longer upper-fret access and slim, fast-playing feel make it extremely comfortable for lead work.

At the heart of the guitar is Dave Mustaine’s signature Seymour Duncan Thrash Factor humbucker set. These are high-output pickups designed to retain definition under heavy gain, with plenty of attack for tight rhythm work while still providing the clarity needed for fast lead playing.

The hardware specification is equally strong, with a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, Flying V string-through tailpiece, Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners and a Graph Tech nut.

Visually, this is one of the best-looking Mustaine signature models Epiphone has produced. The Black Metallic finish is complemented by white body, neck and headstock binding, black hardware and the distinctive Explorer-style headstock.

This example is in near-mint condition. There are some very light surface marks from normal handling and extremely light tarnishing to parts of the hardware, all of which is visible in the photographs. There are no significant knocks or structural issues and overall it has been very well looked after.

It comes complete with its original fitted Epiphone hardshell case, along with the case candy shown in the photographs.
