We’re delighted to welcome Faith Guitars to Chordplay Guitars as one of our newest brands.

Designed under the direction of acclaimed British luthier Patrick James Eggle, Faith guitars have earned an outstanding reputation for their craftsmanship, carefully selected solid tonewoods and exceptional acoustic performance.

Every Faith guitar is designed with sound and playability at its heart, combining traditional guitar-making techniques with thoughtful modern features. We’re extremely impressed with the quality of these instruments and are proud to offer them in our Darwen showroom, where customers can try them for themselves seven days a week.

Faith Nexus Neptune – Coffee Brown (FPNCECF)

The Faith Nexus Neptune is a beautifully crafted, all-solid electro-acoustic guitar that combines an unusual choice of tonewood with the distinctive Neptune body shape.

Finished in a rich Coffee Brown satin, this model showcases the natural figuring of solid Javanese Trembesi across the top, back and sides. Every piece of wood has its own character, and the translucent finish allows the grain to remain a central part of the guitar’s appearance.

Trembesi is a fascinating tonewood, native to the Indonesian island of Java. Tonally, it shares some of mahogany’s warmth and midrange presence, producing a rich, balanced acoustic voice with plenty of depth and clarity.

The Neptune body was developed from Patrick James Eggle’s acclaimed Saluda design. With its generous 16-inch lower bout, it sits between a traditional auditorium and a full-sized jumbo, delivering impressive acoustic volume and projection without the bulk of a larger instrument.

The cutaway provides comfortable access to the upper frets, making this an exceptionally versatile guitar for everything from intricate fingerstyle playing to confident rhythm work.

Premium Construction & Appointments

The Nexus series sits above Faith’s stripped-back Naked range, introducing a more refined level of finish and appointments whilst retaining the brand’s commitment to solid tonewoods throughout.

Beautiful Macassan figured ebony is used for the fingerboard, bridge and headplate, while a matching solid figured ebony pickguard gives the Neptune an individual appearance rarely seen on acoustic guitars in this price bracket.

Cream binding around the body, fingerboard and headstock complements the Coffee Brown finish, with an abalone soundhole rosette and mother-of-pearl Faith ‘F’ inlay completing the design.

Internally, hand-scalloped quarter-sawn spruce bracing follows Patrick James Eggle’s X-bracing pattern, allowing the soundboard to respond naturally and dynamically.

Fishman Electronics – Ready for the Stage

The Neptune comes equipped with a Fishman Presys 2 preamp and Sonicore undersaddle pickup, giving you a dependable amplified sound that retains the natural character of the guitar.

The discreet side-mounted system includes volume control, two-band EQ, a phase switch for feedback management and a built-in chromatic tuner.

Whether you’re performing live, recording or simply enjoying the guitar acoustically, the Nexus Neptune offers an impressive combination of tone, comfort and versatility.
