Fret-King Elise Custom Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar – Cherry Red – Vintage Vibrato – B-Stock 🍒

B-STOCK CLEARANCE – MANUFACTURER’S RRP £1,099 – OUR PRICE JUST £399!

A stunning Fret-King Elise Custom in beautiful Cherry Red, featuring an elegant semi-hollow body, carved maple top, twin Fret-King Fifty-Five humbuckers and a magnificent vintage-style vibrato tailpiece.

This is an unused B-stock instrument, offered at a substantial reduction due to some cosmetic tarnishing on the pickup covers and the absence of its original Fret-King gig bag.

A fantastic opportunity to own a beautifully specified Fret-King at a fraction of the manufacturer’s original RRP!

Fret-King Elise Custom – Something a Little Different!

Designed by renowned British guitar designer Trev Wilkinson and the Fret-King team, the Elise Custom combines classic semi-acoustic styling with some very clever modern features.

The chambered mahogany body features a beautifully carved maple cap, giving the guitar a resonant, responsive character while retaining the comfort and versatility of an electric guitar.

Its graceful double-cutaway shape, twin f-holes, cream body binding and deep Cherry Red finish create a distinctive appearance, completed by the striking chrome vibrato tailpiece.

The mahogany neck features a comfortable Soft ‘C’ profile, while the Indian rosewood fingerboard has a 10-inch radius and 22 medium frets.

It’s an instrument designed to look beautiful, feel comfortable and deliver an enormous range of sounds.

Fret-King Fifty-Five Pickups – Incredible Versatility

The Elise Custom is equipped with two Fret-King Fifty-Five humbuckers, designed by Trev Wilkinson to deliver the rich, expressive tones associated with classic double-coil pickups.

But this guitar has considerably more to offer than a conventional twin-humbucker instrument.

Fret-King’s clever Varicoil system allows the pickups to be progressively adjusted from full humbucker sounds towards brighter, single-coil-style tones.

A push-push phase reversal switch built into the master tone control provides even more tonal possibilities.

Combined with a traditional three-way pickup selector, these features give the Elise Custom a remarkably broad range of sounds.

From warm jazz and blues tones to sparkling cleans, country-inspired twang and powerful overdriven rock sounds, this is a guitar that encourages experimentation.

Wilkinson Hardware & Vintage-Style Vibrato

One of the Elise Custom’s most distinctive features is its elegant vintage-style vibrato tailpiece.

Paired with a Wilkinson GBR roller bridge, it allows expressive pitch changes while helping maintain smooth string movement and tuning stability.

The Wilkinson WJ04 machine heads and Graph Tech nut are further quality appointments.

The combination of carefully selected hardware, chambered construction and versatile electronics makes this a particularly interesting guitar for players looking for something beyond the usual designs.

B-Stock Clearance – Save Against RRP!

This Elise Custom is an unused B-stock guitar which presents beautifully overall.

The main cosmetic issue is some tarnishing and discolouration to the metal pickup covers, particularly the bridge pickup. This can be seen clearly in our close-up photographs.

The original luxury Fret-King gig bag is also missing and is not included in the sale.

The glossy Cherry Red finish, distinctive body design and attractive chrome hardware make this a fantastic-looking guitar.

With a manufacturer’s RRP of £1,099, our B-stock price represents a saving of £700 against that figure.
