Introducing the Mairants EG6 Electric Guitar, finished in timeless Gloss Sunburst with a contrasting white three-ply scratchplate. A fantastic six-string electric guitar that combines classic styling, versatile sounds and impressive specifications at a remarkably affordable price.

Bearing the name of the legendary Ivor Mairants Musicentre, one of Britain’s most celebrated specialist guitar retailers, the EG6 comes with a little piece of British guitar history.

Established in London’s West End in the 1950s, Ivor Mairants became a destination for guitarists of all abilities, from enthusiastic beginners to some of the biggest names in music. The EG6 was developed to offer the classic electric guitar experience without the hefty price tag.

Classic Design, Comfortable Playability

With its familiar double-cutaway body, contoured design and beautifully finished gloss maple neck, the EG6 is comfortable, balanced and easy to get to grips with.

The 22-fret fingerboard offers plenty of room to explore, while the traditional six-saddle tremolo bridge adds another dimension to your playing.

Finished in striking Gloss Sunburst with chrome hardware and a crisp white scratchplate, this is a guitar that looks fantastic whether it’s your very first electric or an affordable addition to an existing collection.

Versatile Guitar Tech Pickups

Equipped with three Guitar Tech single-coil pickups, the EG6 delivers the bright, expressive tones that have made this style of electric guitar a favourite for generations.

From sparkling clean sounds and warm blues tones to punchy rock riffs and everything in between, there’s plenty of versatility on offer.

A five-way pickup selector, master volume and two tone controls allow you to explore a wide range of sounds, making this an ideal guitar for learning, experimenting and developing your own playing style.
