Brunswick BF200M

 

The BF200M is a beautifully presented folk-sized acoustic guitar featuring an all-mahogany construction and a wonderfully warm natural finish.

 

Its slightly smaller folk body makes it particularly comfortable to hold, especially for newer players or anyone who finds a full-size dreadnought a little cumbersome. Despite the more compact proportions, it still produces plenty of projection, warmth and definition.

 

The mahogany top, back and sides give the BF200M a warm, balanced character with a clear response that works beautifully for both strumming and more delicate playing.

 

There is an impressive amount of detail here for a guitar at this price too. The body is finished with contrasting black and white binding, while the dark composite wood fingerboard and bridge complement the rich mahogany beautifully. A traditional tortoiseshell-style pickguard finishes the look.

 

The neck feels comfortable and approachable, making this an excellent choice as a first acoustic guitar, but it is certainly not limited to beginners. At £149, this is simply a very enjoyable, attractive acoustic that offers a lot of guitar for the money.
