Intuitive operation

Since a centaur is half human, half horse, and the NUX NOD-1 Horseman Overdrive is half gold, half silver - it could be argued this is more of a centaur than the real thing. Dial in these two modes with a straightforward control layout that minimizes time fiddling, so you can spend more time revelling in superior drive tones:

• Gain: Adjust the intensity of the effect. Minimal settings allow the pedal to act as a clean boost, while h9igher settings add a little crunch without sacrificing the transients of your signal.

   

• Treble: Alter high-end response allowing you to tailor the brightness of your tone.

   

• Output: Control your overall master volume

To show off its flexibility, the Horseman can run in either true bypass or buffered bypass. This is a feature the original didn't offer. This meant whenever the pedal was plugged in, it would colour your tone, even when disengaged. Supporting true bypass allows the Horseman to offer deluxe drive when engaged, but not affect your signal in the slightest when disengaged. Classic tone, superior performance.
