Tanglewood TRX4CE Roadster X Super Folk Electro Acoustic~ Natural Gloss

Tanglewood TRX4CE Roadster X Super Folk Electro Acoustic – Natural

The Tanglewood TRX4CE Roadster X is a beautifully balanced electro acoustic built around Tanglewood’s extremely comfortable Super Folk Cutaway body shape.

✨ Chordplay Guitars are proud to be an authorised Tanglewood retailer, and the TRX4CE is a great example of what the brand does so well — a very playable, well-finished acoustic with excellent specification at an accessible price ✨

The Super Folk body has long been one of Tanglewood’s most popular designs. Slightly slimmer and more manageable than a traditional dreadnought, it sits comfortably against the body while still delivering plenty of acoustic presence. The cutaway also gives excellent access further up the fingerboard, making it equally suitable for strumming, fingerstyle and lead playing.

A spruce top provides plenty of clarity, definition and projection, paired with ovangkol back and sides to add warmth, depth and a fuller midrange response. It’s a versatile combination that works particularly well for players who want one acoustic capable of covering a broad range of styles.

The mahogany neck is joined with a traditional dovetail joint at the 14th fret and paired with an Eboncore fingerboard and bridge. Genuine abalone detailing around the soundhole, maple and ABS binding and chrome machine heads with black buttons give the TRX4CE a smart, understated finish.

For amplified use, it comes fitted with Tanglewood’s TEQ MX electronics, allowing the guitar to be connected directly to an acoustic amplifier, PA or recording setup while retaining the character of the instrument.

Finished in Natural Gloss, the TRX4CE is a very attractive, versatile electro acoustic and an excellent choice for home, stage or studio use.
