Vintage V100 ReIssued Bigsby Electric Guitar – Flamed Thru Black – V100BLB

BRAND NEW | SPECIAL PRICE £399.00 | RRP £719.00

A Beautiful Vintage V100 with a Bigsby – At a Special Price!

The Vintage V100 ReIssued has earned a reputation for offering classic single-cut styling, excellent playability and impressive hardware at a price that makes it accessible to a wide range of guitarists.

This particular V100BLB takes things a step further, with a factory-fitted Bigsby vibrato, twin Wilkinson humbuckers and a beautiful translucent finish.

And at just £399, it’s a fantastic opportunity to own a brand-new V100 with Bigsby at a considerable saving against its £719 RRP.

An Unusual Flamed Thru Black Finish

One of the things that makes this particular guitar interesting is its appearance.

Officially finished in Flamed Thru Black, our example has a much more subdued figuring than the manufacturer’s promotional photographs, with a smoky, olive-grey tint that becomes particularly noticeable under certain lighting.

Rather than the heavily striped flame maple appearance usually associated with this model, the figuring here is subtle, giving the guitar a darker, understated character.

The translucent finish still allows the natural figuring of the top to show through, while the cream binding, zebra Wilkinson pickups, gold-coloured control knobs and chrome Bigsby provide a lovely contrast.

It’s an unusual-looking V100, and certainly one that stands apart from the more familiar finishes.

Please note: The appearance of this particular example differs from the manufacturer’s promotional photographs, particularly in the amount of visible flame figuring and the colour of the finish. We’ve taken this into account with our special selling price.

Our photographs show the actual guitar you will receive.

Classic Single-Cut Construction

The V100BLB features a two-piece, centre-jointed mahogany body with a carved maple cap and bookmatched flame maple veneer.

Its familiar single-cut shape is complemented by Vintage’s subtly modified body design, featuring a descending bass-side shoulder and an offset neck heel.

These refinements improve access to the upper frets while retaining the traditional appearance that makes this style of guitar so appealing.

The set mahogany neck features a comfortable soft C profile, paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets and traditional block-style inlays.

With a 24.75-inch scale length and 12-inch fingerboard radius, it’s a comfortable guitar for everything from blues and classic rock to heavier styles.

Wilkinson Humbuckers – Classic Rock Tone

A pair of Wilkinson MVHZ double-coil humbuckers gives the V100BLB plenty of character.

The neck pickup offers warm, rounded tones with plenty of sustain, making it ideal for blues, clean passages and expressive lead playing.

The bridge pickup provides a more aggressive response, with the bite and power needed for classic rock, hard rock and higher-gain sounds.

The two-volume, two-tone control arrangement and three-way selector switch allow you to shape the sound to suit your playing style.

The uncovered zebra pickup design also looks fantastic against the darker finish.

Factory-Fitted Bigsby Vibrato

One of the standout features of this V100 is its licensed Bigsby vibrato tailpiece.

The Bigsby adds another dimension to the guitar, allowing expressive pitch movement, gentle vibrato and subtle chord shimmer while retaining the familiar feel of a traditional single-cut electric.

Paired with the Wilkinson Tune-o-matic bridge, it provides a classic vibrato arrangement that looks equally at home on a vintage-inspired rock guitar.

The chrome Bigsby is a substantial visual feature too, giving the instrument a distinctive appearance.
