Vintage V62 ICON Distressed Ash Blonde

 

A pre-owned Vintage V62 ICON in Distressed Ash Blonde, combining classic T-style looks with the factory-aged finish that the ICON range is known for.

 

This one is in excellent used condition, with only minor play wear beyond the intentional factory relic treatment. The worn edges, exposed wood, aged hardware and softened finish are all part of the ICON look rather than damage, and it gives the guitar a nicely broken-in feel straight away.

 

The V62 is a simple, effective design with two Wilkinson single-coils, a three-way selector and the familiar master volume and tone layout. It is easy to get along with and covers everything from bright bridge pickup bite through to a rounder, warmer neck sound.

 

The Wilkinson WTB bridge is a particularly useful feature here. Rather than a traditional uncompensated three-saddle design, it is made to improve intonation while keeping the classic appearance.

 

The neck is hard rock maple with Vintage’s Soft C profile, paired with a rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium frets and a 25.5” scale length.
